Florian and I were at home having lunch in front of the TV after a fine morning of WoWing. Don't know what we were watching but it got interrupted by a live news feed of this whale in the River Thames which had been spotted yesterday. We were watching the broadcast for a bit when we realised "hey, that's just outside". The whale had come to a stop literally outside of our Battersea estate and had attracted a crowd of thousands: along our estate, across the bridge and on the other side of the river (though you can't really see them in the shot, can't really see the whale either - haha).
