A warm sunny day greeted us for a day of punting and promenading at tourist hotspot Cambridge.

Like every other tourist living in London, I had to visit Cambridge. We were initially tossing up between either going to Cambridge or to Oxford, but Cambridge had the punting so there wasn't really any question as to which university town we were going to choose. It's also quite a beautiful town.

As expected the punting was heaps of fun. It's way better than cruising in one of those (€100 for a 2 hour tour) gondalas in Venice. In Cambridge, you actually get to punt your own punt! So if you're ever visiting London in Summer, I highly recommend taking the overland one hour north for some fun in the sun.

People: Me, Natasha and Fredy.

Memorable Moments: Punting of course.

Interesting Stuff: Stephen Hawking is the Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge.

Personal Notes: None.

Firsts: First time punting.
